It's a Girl!!

My mom and I just attended the Women Of Faith Conference this last weekend here in Kansas City. It was a neat weekend and I enjoyed the speakers and music. They introduced us to a program called World Vision where you can sponsor a child and help provide necessary resources such as clean water, basic health care, improved nutrition, and educational opportunities. My monthly contribution will support a child in an AIDS-affected community, along with their family, their community, and other children in need. I wanted to help. I have a 5 year old girl, Mickness, from Malawi South Africa. The print is kind of small, but she is not in school at this time. She likes to play with dolls and helps at home by babysitting. I'm excited to write and get to know her and learn how my contribution is improving her life. I hope and pray she can now have clean water and an education. I hope to meet her someday.
